Beiter stabilizers - the carbon rods are shorter than "market" to allow a shorter archer to handle them more easily. Many records (state and national) set with these.

RH 25" Fire (Lion) Helix with custom Jaeger grip
2017-01-03 16.16.17
Another angle of the Hoyt Helix LION with the magnetic rest and a high Jaeger rest puts the archer's power line in complete support of the bow's resistance. Set up for X-10 arrows, of course.

I was on a business trip about 1998 in NJ, and drove several hours to Lancaster Archery and met for the first time owner Rob Kaufhold, he and I talked about my daughter with her physical impediments. He got out a UPS scale, and we weighed every riser in stock. (many), and the Hoyt GM was the second-lightest. The lightest was the Yamaha Ceramic, for only another $600 more. So dad left with a lot of good will, a lasting relationship with Rob, and a Hoyt GM which Lindsey took to establish a huge number of records at the state and even national level. Hoyt soon (through George Tekmitchov and Don Rabska's recommendations) sponsored the FIRST paralympian archer athlete in their history - Lindsey. But it all began with this beloved riser. Note it has the custom "High" Jaeger grip, as she had achieved that level of performance required to meet the challenge of the archery worldwide.

This riser is a Hoyt GM, which I personally chose at Lancaster as the lightest limb of all they had at the time, for a youthful archer. It has not been abused EVER but it has been well used in countless competitions and shows the wear and tear of the kind of finish they used "back in the day". It is NOT warped nor damaged, uses ILS limbs, and yes, is one of the lightest risers for any young archer to use to set state and national records as Lindsey did.

At times Lindsey was forced to drop draw weight in order to rebuild from trauma or surgery (they are actually the same thing). So we had a library of limbs, 2 pounds apart, in order to steadily rebuild her skill and strength after each physical insult - broken bones and surgeries that indeed required her to learn to walk again. They are not so much competitive level limbs as more importantly training up limbs. But for youth archers these are perfect as a stepping stone to the next level if the commitment is there.

G3 limbs were the top of the line at the time. These are medium length as are all but the WinWin limbs which coach/dad needed with a 27" riser in order to get to a 32" draw length.

This is the coach's rightt hand 27" riser with custom Jaeger High grip, magnetic rest, and less than 2000 shots on it. Both black aluminum and bright steel anchor screws (ILS) included. I felt it was important as a level IV USA Archery coach that I could hold and demonstrate with both left and right hand risers, the entire shot process. LOVED the feel of a shot off of this riser - solid but like a ghost in after-shot effects. Again, set up for about a 31.75 to 32" draw length by using the WIN/Win long limbs in other photos. If you are 6'6", this is the riser for you!

For UT fans, this quiver is a bargain. For Aggies, it is the ultimate in "ironic gifts" to your close archer competitor...

These are the ad astra draw assists for training in how to load the back/trapezius for a perfect release/loose. Two sizes.

The penultimate way to fletch a single arrow with *any* vane or fletch, the aluminum Bitzenberger. Enough said. Perhaps a collectors item?

This is a device that mounts on the holes of the riser for the sight. It then provides an adjustable laser beam that rotates 360 degrees so that you can view the alignment of not just the riser but the limbs in the riser, to be able to change the shims in the riser as needed to center *everything*. from the sight picture to the tip of the limbs.

A Neoprene padded holster for a sure-loc or similar sight for back-package with great padding and cushioning. the black pouch is for the sight aperture assembly.

This is the coach's treasure. I set up a Genesis Pro with an extended release loop and a Bernie Pellerite Shock Absorber. You can draw over 32 inches, either mechanical release or fingers, and release/dry fire this bow with no problems or damage to the bow. I taught compound, recurve, and barebow archers how to draw in alignment, anchor, commit to the shot, and properly loose the arrow whether recurve or compound, using this setup. A sight is included but is entirely tertiary to the other functions of drawing and loosing.

This is an example of using both plumbers 2-part epoxy and Sugru (a silicone composite material that provides traction as well as cushioning) to build up a higher, more neutral grip stance. This helps the archer to "be the ghost" upon release (or "Loose") of the arrow.

The LION waiting to be unleashed.

Lindsey was a world-ranked elite archer for BOTH able-bodied and paralympic categories, and this Aerotec riser helped her set a world record in the Athens games of 603 in the OR qualifying round. NO USA paralympian has come close to this mark since 2004. This is the bow she used. It comes with the same magnetic rest, the extension plate, and the SureLoc sight is also available for purchase separately but "togehter". The high Jaeger grip requires excellence from the archer in bone alignment but is part of what sets world records and wins medals in competition. Included.

This bow was used by Lindsey in the 2008 Beijing Games, a Helix in Fire Engine Red with appropriate Beiter Clicker and magnetic arrow rest, as well as the elite Jaeger High Bow Grip. Treated always with both respect and care.

Closeup of the part of the bow that "counts the most". This was a highly tuned bow assembly that won a bronze medal for Team USA in Beijing in 2008 at the Paralympics. In fact, Lindsey met and defeated for the bronze, the first archer she had faced at a world championship (in Madrid in 1997) and soundly defeated that Polish archer to complete a circle of karma of dedication to the sport over trials and severe physical and mental tribulations. This riser has strong determination built into it through Lindsey's competitve spirit.

KAP limbs are NOT truely competitive quality limbs, but for use as an archer's rebuilding of strength following, say, a 15 hour long surgery to rebuild both femurs at the MAYO clinic, a great tool to start low and gradually rebuild skill and strength. Only two months after such a surgery Lindsey competed in the National Indoors from a bar stool and won her division.

Doinker red long limb which also (I think) has a set of lateral red bars. The tip is a cushioned doinker absorber which allowed Lindsey to use the stab as a kind of cane to be able to walk to the shooting line without crutches. VERY sturdy.
